The Men’s Group will be joined by Hassan Darasi from Community InfoSource tonight to talk about their new FGM awareness campaign and we’ll be showing our ‘A Strong Man’  video made by our members with Mediaco-op and White Ribbon Campaign.

Men’s Group tree planting

MIN is very proud of the 14 members of the Men’s Group who planted 700 new trees near Craigend on Saturday 6th February 2016 as part of Forestry Commission Scotland‘s Volunteer Community Champion programme. What a fantastic achievement! Further trips are planned in the next few weeks.

The Men’s Group have been working hard this summer on their film-making project and the film they made, ‘A Strong Man’, will be screened on Tuesday 18th August at the African Caribbean Centre, find more details and how to RSVP here Premier of ‘A Strong Man’

The group will then take a well earned rest and return in September with new activities.
