The Refugee Festival Scotland 2018 programme is out now and MIN are hosting and taking part in a number of events over the Festival as usual including ‘Knitting a Community’ with Knit for Unity: Across the Globe on Monday 18th June, our Family Nest Syrian Families Group community event ‘Blossoming Youth Friendships’ on Wednesday 20th June and presenting objects at St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art for the ‘New Scots Museum Display’ launch on Thursday 21st June.

The Youth Art Project run in partnership with Glasgow Connected Arts Network and the Family Nest group was a great success and they made this wonderful film as part of the project.
The Family Nest group will now be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 5.30pm – 7.30pm at Maryhill Community Centre, 35 Avenuepark St, G20 8TS.
Integrating Syrian families into Scottish society – with activities and information sessions every week. We would welcome anyone from the local community along who wants to meet and make friends with newcomers to Glasgow.
MIN is delighted to have started a new project working to assist Syrian families with their integration into community life in Glasgow and Scotland with a programme of activities and information sessions every Thursday from 5-7pm in Maryhill Community Centre.
