1st-7th June is Volunteers Week which gives us an opportunity to say a massive thank you to all our brilliant volunteers and to all volunteers across Scotland! Due to the current situation we can’t all be together to celebrate, so instead the staff team have summed up what value volunteers bring to MIN as an organisation by saying thanks and sharing a key memory or aspect of volunteering at MIN in this video.
We are very fortunate at MIN to have some wonderfully creative volunteers! The Oasis Women’s Group have been getting crafty the last couple of weeks making lovely pot holders. There are 2 more sessions running on Thursdays from 12.30-2.30pm before the break for the Festive Season.
MIN are very fortunate to have lots of enquiries about volunteering with us! The last few months have seen us take on some fantastic new volunteers and we hope to build on this success in the coming months. Posts we are still looking to fill at the moment include helping out around the office and people with fundraising experience for our Board.
If you are interested in volunteering with us please fill out the sign up form via the link below and our Volunteer Co-ordinator will be in touch.
We are currently updating our Volunteering Procedures & Roles in order to give those volunteering with us the best experience and use of their time at mIN, which means there are currently delays in offering volunteering opportunities.
We will post an update as soon as we have our new list of roles available however roles we will potentially be looking to fill will include admin, information resource, gardening and assisting with events and social media.
